Agreed completely with that. I watch Fox regularly, but anyone can spot bullsh*t when they see it. It was a terrible story. Fox just tried to pull some news out of their asses. All news stations do it.

Fox did screw up with this though. The whole segment made me cringe and it was clear that the "expert" knew absolutely nothing about the game. But it's not just Fox and right wing people that hate on games; some of the biggest haters are on the other side of that fence.
Hmm, in the MP video you see loadouts behind guys who were using the armor abilities (similar to equipment) so that's kind of where I am basing my opinion of loadouts on. Armor customization is totally different from armor abilities, just to clarify. I do know for a fact that loadouts are not like CoD loadouts. So rest easy on that.
So loadouts are just armor abilities (equipment) that you pick at the beginning of a game. I could be wrong, but it sounds most plausible to me.
I have a feeling loadouts may be more like picking which armor ability you start with not which weapon or weapon set-up.
I love the grenade launcher with secondary type fire. I can imagine shooting one on a flag spot and detonating it when someone walks up. Great for setting traps and also messing up vehicles.
So many good details in the podcast. Listen to it if you're a Halo fan.

Hmmm I would imagine you can. The info they released today said your customized Spartan would appear in SP along with all the cutscenes. Although I would imagine just the first players character will appear in cut scenes, everyone's character should appear in the actual gameplay.
This credit system isn't new to games but it works perfectly with Halo's style of gameplay. Also the fact that our created Spartan will be seen in SP cut scenes is absolutely fantastic.
This game continues to get better and better every time they release new info.

Stupid comparison. I love Halo and Reach will be absolutely awesome, but it's not going to best Crysis in graphics. Well, it won't beat it in realistic graphics. I appreciate Halo for it's art style though.
It's going to look great AND play great though, and that's what's important; a good combination of both.

So why are you naming things that Bungie has always been known for? Do you honestly think they'd neglect some of the biggest parts of their game just for graphics and animation? I'm sorry, but that's not going to happen. And like I said; Bungie themselves have confirmed all the things you were talking about in your first post.
All of that is pretty much confirmed. The only one they haven't mentioned is Forge and I doubt they would take out such a beloved feature. Forge was far too popular to get rid of.
I guess you didn't see the trailer where they had their helmets off. You also didn't read about how they will have their helmets off quite a bit; just like ODST.
Will definitely be the best Halo game yet. From what I've seen of the animations, they look a hell of a lot better than any Halo game. They also look great for a first person game. Bungie seems to be going the extra mile with this game so I would imagine the animations would be no different.
I could not agree more. The community aspect is where Bungie shines, even though their games are nothing to scoff at. The Bnet community and the way Bungie interacts and listens is amazing.
And the explanation of all those features from Urk are truly amazing. Upping the bar once again with their online match making.
Bungie has undeniably been the console leader as far as innovation of the matchmaking system is concerned. The fact that they are improving on what was a pretty great MM experience is a testament to that. The new features are amazing.
And like I said in another comment; I don't think we've seen the half of it yet.
Like with all lists, you could disagree about 1 or 2 but overall it was a good list. I know I haven't gotten to play any of those games yet so I won't comment on how great one is like everyone else seems to do around here. I guess that's what happens when there are so many great games out and you don't have gamefly or anything.
